Personal Profile
Lucy has been practicing dental hygiene for over 15 years. Her passion for helping others has led her to volunteer at the Veterans hospital in Vallejo, CA and Native American Clinic in Oakland, CA. Lucy has also volunteered with the "Flyingdocs" and continues to make trips to help patients in underserved areas abroad and locally. These endeavors led her to create and write a public health education program that was used in scientific studies to improve the health and lifestyle of entire populations.
Lucy is very passionate about dental health and loves helping patients take charge in their own health. She helps them understand the connection between the mouth and overall health. Lucy thrives on building lifelong relationships with her patients based on trust, kindness & compassion.
Lucy continues her commitment to excellence and keeps herself at the forefront of advances in dentistry by attending many hours of continuing education. The priority is for her patients to achieve the highest level of dental care while tailoring her knowledge to meet her patients' needs.
Lucy has a special heart for geriatrics. With her grandfather being 104 years old she understands the challenges families face to bring care to the elderly. She also has several years of experience with geriatrics, special needs and medically compromised patients.
Lucy is equally committed to a healthy and happy lifestyle at home as well and enjoys spending quality time with her husband and her three kids. As an avid "foodie", cook and wine enthusiast, they enjoy traveling as a family and eating international food.
